2016
Chief commercial officer. Products manager | Expasoft
Product management and strategy for AI/ML development company.

  • Have generated and discovered AI/ML products ideas for retail, transport, eCommerce, advertisement, B2B user research.
  • Have found strategic customers, built relationships.
  • Have developed a multi-variant company commercial strategy with respect to potential cases of ML market evolution.
  • Have developed ML education and consulting spin-off strategy
2014-2015
Managed operational activities and development of the healthcare diagnostics producing company.
BioPallete develops and supplies leading human infection diseases diagnostics kits (HIV, hepatitis, pox) onto Russian market - AIDS Centres, blood transfusion stations, clinics and hospitals.

Results:
  • Increased market share, attracted strategic investments, created marketing and sales departments, doubled production capacity, started production automation projects (hardware and software), created company and products branding.
  • All contracts executed at time, net profit accounted.
2009-2015
Co-founder. Principal researcher | Advanced Diagnostics Platforms
Co-founded biotech R&D startup Advanced Diagnostics Platforms (ADP)aimed to develop a brand new platform for individual human infection diseases (HIV, HCV, HBV etc.) diagnostic.

As Principal researcher I was working on R&D of ultra-sensitive sensing solutions.
As a result a unique theoretical sensor concept was developed (using nanoscale subwavelength optical waveguides, quantum dots, avalanche photodiodes as signal detectors and superparamagnetic nanoparticles), technological partners in EU and Russia was found.

Other deliverables in ADP:
  • Launched international sales of the cutting edge enzymatic label produced by company: polyhrp.com
  • Realized eCommerce startup for individual infection diseases diagnostics market.
2006-2011
CEO/CTO | IntraOL
Developed and pushed to market cutting-edge multifocal intraocular lens implant MIOL-Akkord (later MIOL-Accord).

My doings:
  • Project and product management.
  • R&D as physicist and engineer *
  • Dealing with partners, investors, distributors
Results:

* My R&D: technologies of diffractive optics producing and measurement by custom optical, photolithography, reactive-ion etching and software systems. Invented and realized innovative dioptrimeter-aberrometer intended for fast and reliable multifocal IOL measurement at factory or lab conditions.

Project awarded first prize at Siberian Venture Fair in 2008.
2004-2006
Physicist-optician. Engineer | Institute of Automation and Electrometry
Diffractive optics lab
Invention diffractive optics element (DOE) measurement technologies and device development.

  • Developed 3D scanning profilometer (using polychromatic confocal sensor) intended for continuous-relief DOE characterisation with nanometric resolution (MS graduate work).
  • Computational modeling of light beam propagation through DOE.
2002-2003
Software engineer | Excelsior LLC
Standalone software development using C/C++/Modula2.

  • Developed custom high-performance C++ library for large 3D meshes real-time scaling and visualization (city lidar maps).
